Pat Hanson asked if we could help her take initial designs for a super-insulated home with solar domestic hot water and photovoltaic systems and refine her plans to fit on an urban infill lot in Burlington. We developed plans for a compact, space efficient and very well insulated home that minimizes energy and resource consumption, uses renewable energy, includes low toxic materials, and is durable and comfortable.
