This National Register building was unaltered since its original construction in 1911. We worked with the existing historic plan and elements to preserve its original character. We built out into the 16-foot wide hall but kept the full width and expansive feeling of the original tin ceilings visible. Original split floor levels were retained and made into duplexes. We raised the basement floor to provide handicapped units access to grade without the need for ramps and elevators. |
