AquaFuture developed a process for raising quality fish
in a controlled environment. After operating a 4,000 SF prototype facility, AquaFuture
hired a design/build firm to build a 40,000 SF headquarters and production
facility. WMAP was hired to review the design/build company's plans, to
design lobby office and public areas, to improve the exterior design and
landscaping and to assist in reviewing construction requests for payment. We
developed an open office plan with maximum use of natural light, plants for
air quality and aesthetics, and work station layout for maximum efficiency. We indicated improvements to the design/build plans which increased building
performance and reduced cost. We assisted AquaFuture with review of work
during construction to insure quality, to keep the construction schedule and
to economize costs.
